As part of the celebratory 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, CHOE has designed a candle inspired by Dionysios Solomos.
Dionysios Solomos is considered to be the national Greek poet, as the writer of the Greek National Anthem (Hymn to Liberty). The canvas depicts a manuscript from his work on “The Free Besieged”. A poem inspired by the siege and Exodus of Messolonghi (1825- 1826), during the events of the Revolution of 1821.
